    Melanie LMT, RCST received her Associate in Occupational Studies in Massage Therapy from The Swedish Institute in New York City and has been practicing as a New York State licensed massage therapist since 2002. From that time, she has built a successful private practice as a LMT and completed a 700 hour post graduate Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy certification program taught by Roger Gilchrist, MA, RPP, RCST. Melanie participated in a weeklong Spiritual Healing retreat led by Rosita Arvigo in the rainforest of Belize and has also been trained in her version of the Mayan Abdominal and Uterine Massage technique. She was trained and worked as a medical assistant to an infertility specialist OB/GYN in the early 80's and was awarded a BA in Anthropology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

    Nicole

    Nicole is a licensed Massage Therapist and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. She studied at The New York College of Health Professions and graduated in 2004. Her techniques include; Swedish, Amma, Trigger Point, Sports and Deep Tissue massage. Nicole started her massage career working at a Physical Therapist office and then moved on to working in a five star spa here in Manhattan. She is looking forward to working with new mothers and being able to help them during this wonderful time in their lives.

    Elizabeth became a licensed Massage Therapist from the Swedish Institute in 1993. She has advanced training in Bodymind Acupressure Therapy and Craniosacral Therapy. New mothers can have a variety of new demands on their body and may discover discomfort in their arms, backs and legs as well as an increase in general stress. Elizabeth uses a combination of craniosacral therapy, acupressure and lymphatic drainage technique to relieve pain and to allow the new mom to feel stress and anxiety drain away. She has particular experience helping mothers of babies with colic. Please note that clients remain fully clothed during the bodywork session. Elizabeth also teaches Adult CPR and infant first aid for RaisingMOM. As the mother of grown children, she is delighted to be able help new moms in this exciting time of life.
