Florelle is a AAAI-ISMA certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor, she has been teaching for over 15 years, focusing on strength training, cardiovascular workouts including step aerobics, circuit training and interval training. On the personal training level, she has worked with women wishing to regain their pre-pregnant bodies, or who simply need the boost to get them back into the gym to regain energy. She is the mother of 3 wonderful children, the last being 11-months old. Her classes are fun, exercise should be fun!
Susan has been teaching yoga to new and soon-to-be moms since 2004. A dancer for many years, Susan has a background of anatomy and kinesiology which deeply informs her yoga practice. A mother since 2005, she knows first hand how difficult it is to balance self-care and baby-care. Her classes focus on giving mom the relaxation, stretch, and strengthening she needs, as well as tools to take our of the studio and into the daily challenge of parenting.
Ingrid has been a certified fitness professional for over 10 years. She has created group and private customized exercise programming for hundreds of clients. Her strengths lie in her concrete knowledge and expertise in exercise and fitness. Her focus mainly consists of core strengthening and increasing muscle mass. Her signature 3 C’s are constant in every session: concentration, consistency and correctness (form).
Adele has taught yoga to children and adults since 2001, and she has been focusing on yoga for pre and post natal moms since 2006. She has certifications from Integral Yoga Institute (Hatha I,II, labor and delivery, and post natal yoga). Karma Kids Yoga and NY Yoga. Her class is both playful and practical, and her method focuses on problem-solving for the individual to support proper alignment, freedom of movement, and stress relief. Adele’s classical dance training informs her approach to warming up and class flow.
Maddie comes to RaisingMOM not only as a seasoned Pre-Post Natal certified fitness professional but also as a seasoned Pre-K and Kindergarten school teacher. Maddie started her personal training career at NYC’s Equinox Health Clubs, quickly emerging as a top level trainer. She is certified thru NASM. Maddie’s training focuses on teaching women to recognize and trust their own instincts, move their bodies safely and efficiently, gain strength and stability, tone up and manage weight.
Vivian is an ACE, NASM and AAFA certified fitness professional and is a certified Hatha Yoga and Mat Pilates Instructor. Vivian has extensive experience teaching both group and private pre & post natal clients. With the Mind-Body balance of yoga, Pilates and fitness, she creates workouts that will focus on core strength, alignment, while helping new moms regain her abdominal strength and energy.
Marisa has been teaching yoga for twelve years and specializing in pre and post natal for five years. She received her initial yoga training from Jivamukti Yoga Center and her pre and post natal training from Baby Om and Mia Borgata of Lila Wellness. She is the mother of a healthy, happy and delightfully creative almost 3 year old yogini princess. Her teachings range from intensely physical, aerobic and strengthening to relaxing and restorative depending on the needs of her clients. Marisa enjoys engaging her creativity in sessions with poetry, positive thinking and guided meditations. She is in the final stages of her training as a Creative Arts Therapist with a focus in Drama Therapy.
